There used to be two opposing realms; Lux and Nox.
The visible difference between the two is the aura. Lux have beaming rays of light emitting from one's body, while Nox carry an ominous shadow around their body. The Lux and Nox are very conflicting, which explains to having seperate realms. Until two young, rebellious lovers from both sides laid their hands on such power that the realms collided and formed as one. The Lux and Nox were at stake, and it seemed like devastation was the only feeling left inside. As a solution, the families of those traitors were handed the roles of leading their people to keep both sides at peace.
From that day, over centuries, more riots of 'monochromic' pairs have taken place. However, the new partners would disappear as their love would reach to a point where immense power could be held. This also happened to the very beginners of this fray.
