Before, the world was consumed by war. Almost every day, thousands of lives were lost. That's when the government decided to step in. Select children were taken from wealthy families, willingly or not, to be raised into the perfect soldier. There were a total of 50 of these genetically-engineered super soldiers; ECHO was the first. After the war was over, ECHO, along with his other comrades, were able to return to their families like any other soldier. But they weren't like other soldiers.

This was supposed to be a new start for them; Astra had made that clear. If she looked back on it all now it would tear her apart. A fresh start meant no more wounds. I intend to post a new chapter every week or so, and I'm more than excited to share my story with anyone who it speaks to!)
