Worlds of Cascade: from the Chancery files

Welcome to the Worlds Of Cascade. A web serial novel published at irregular intervals that is.... That's...

And it's hard to describe, really.

Worlds of Cascade is a very personal fictional universe, featuring several interconnected worlds, complicated politics, magic, adventure and dozens of characters with unique worldviews and aspirations that do not always work well with others.

The first arc, currently dubbed From The Chancery Files, although that might be subject to change, concerns a world much like our own, but with an added twist of "magic exists, but normies can't see it for some reason" you see here and there. Different chapters may focus on different people, but two main protagonists are:

-Helen, a college student unsure about the direction of her life who "sees through" (that's how we call realizing the supernatural exists in Cascade) and finds low-level employment in the Chancery, this world's chief magical organization, that swiftly proceeds to lie, exploit and manipulate her, as per it's usual MO.
-Axel, a suspiciously charismatic and self-absorbed young man, who unlocks magical powers along with his two equally as eccentric friends and then proceeds to go on the biggest joyride he could think of.

As the story will develop, the central characters will find themselves in increasingly more serious and complicated situations, slowly uncovering both the mysteries and the rot behind the curtain of the new supernatural world they found themselves in.
