Axe's nightmare has become reality.
Not only has he been bought by one of the cruellest plantation owners in the state, he befriends his master's son Henry.
Axe has dreams. He wants to get his family back and live on a farm with lots of chickens. Henry wants to end slavery and see his parents happy again.
It's not long before both boys find themselves trapped deeper in a world of facades, and lies where prejudice rules the hearts of the people, and skeletons hidden far from sight, make their way to haunt the living, giving Axe no choice but to run away.
However, running away brings grim realities that not only test their friendship, but could change both Axe's and Henry's lives forever...

Lincoln Loud in Kandyland, écrit par Loudverse
12 chapitres Terminé
When Lincoln Loud volunteers to test out his genius sister Lisa's latest invention-a prototype time machine-he expects a quick hop through history. But a sudden malfunction throws him far off course, hurling him into an alternate timeline... and back to December 1970. Confused and disoriented, Lincoln tries to make sense of the strange retro world around him-until a local newspaper headline delivers a gut-wrenching truth: this isn't just the past... it's a different reality entirely. Desperate for answers, Lincoln stumbles upon a bright, cheerful commercial playing on an old TV: "Welcome to Kandyland-the sweetest place on Earth! Where candy dreams and family fun never end!" Drawn by curiosity-and a lack of options-he visits the seemingly innocent amusement park. During the day, Kandyland is a vibrant wonderland filled with sugary attractions, singing mascots, and friendly faces. But when night falls, a chilling transformation takes place. The lights dim. The music distorts. And the park's lovable mascots? They're alive... and watching. Now trapped inside a twisted carnival of sweetness and shadows, Lincoln must survive the nightmarish world of Kandyland. Its animatronic hosts-once smiling figures of joy-now hunt him through the fog-filled grounds, determined to keep their newest guest forever. With the unexpected help of an unlikely ally hiding in the park's forgotten corners, Lincoln must uncover the dark secrets of Kandyland, outwit its monstrous mascots, and find a way home... Before Kandyland claims him for good.

Lincoln Loud in Saw

8 chapitres Terminé Contenu pour adultes

After the cruel events of No Such Luck, Lincoln Loud's world falls apart. Branded as "bad luck" and cast out of his own home, he is left to sleep outside like an outcast. The boy who once had a loving family and supportive friends is now met with nothing but scorn, ridicule, and neglect. His sisters ignore his suffering, his parents turn a blind eye, and even those he once trusted as friends have abandoned him. With every passing night, Lincoln grows weaker-alone, hungry, and broken by the betrayal of those who should have cared for him most. But fate takes an unexpected turn. Watching from the shadows is a man with a twisted philosophy-John Kramer, better known as Jigsaw. Seeing Lincoln's suffering, Jigsaw recognizes a story he knows all too well: the destruction of innocence at the hands of selfishness, ignorance, and cruelty. To him, Lincoln is not just a victim-he is a symbol of wasted potential, crushed by those who failed to value him. With the help of his apprentices, Jigsaw enacts a plan. One by one, Lincoln's abusers-his family, his so-called friends, anyone who cast him aside-are taken in the dead of night. They awaken in a cold, unfamiliar place, chained and surrounded by the sounds of machinery. Before them stand twisted contraptions-deadly traps designed to test not just their will to survive, but their capacity for remorse.
