"Natalia," Merlin thanked the gods that she was safe.

"Redmond thinks that I'm going to marry an adventurer during my travels." Natalia was proud of herself for making Merlin so flustered that he pinched the bridge of his nose in disbelief.
"Well," Gwaine spoke smugly and played into the joke, "I hope that we meet during your travels, and I can become that adventurer."

After some time, when the round table was just established and knights went out on patrols, they eventually start talking about events that have happened in Camelot so far. One day, some of them mentiones how Merlin always seems involved. Which is why Gwaine made it his mission to make Merlin the travel Cryptid. Why is he stealing dresses? How come he suspects someone of treason and the next day they find them dead with evidence of their treason around? After some time of this game called: connecting the dot's it becomes a thing.
