Luna Glass is a hard working, responsible, and dedicated sister. An overachiever in school and a fighter in the gym, and one day hopefully, a powerful sorcerer.
Despite her best efforts, her achievements are always overshadowed by her twin brother Zev. Which normally wouldn't be a big deal except that he is arrogant, annoying, and aggressive. While she studies, he games, and while she helps her parents, he hangs out with his friends.
When he was accepted at Ironwood Magic Academy a year ahead of her she felt bittersweet at best.
As if being overshadowed in regular life wasn't enough!
Now is her chance to prove herself to the world, but being a student at Ironwood isn't a walk in the park. Learning magic is a dangerous practice, and between bullies, budding romances, and difficult practical exams, Luna will have to learn to control and master her new abilities as she juggles the social obligations of her new life.
