Hetha and Norta, two teenagers living on the streets, are best of friends living the average life of the others like them. Silver blooded people with superhuman powers that are feared by red-blooded people, and have to stay hidden. Norta and Hetha are sucked up into a rebellion for silver-blooded freedom among red-blooded society. There's some sappiness, intense moments, detailed description, and all sorts of feels. Taking place in the present (for the most part, more like very recent past depending on how long this goes for) the silvers struggle to rise above the fear of the reds and become equals at the very least.
(I'm actually going to publish this series on amazon if you want a copy)
In a world where shadows hold secrets and systems control lives, two paths begin to converge-one forged in secrecy, the other in curiosity.
Red Snake has spent her life inside the system, trained to follow orders, bury emotion, and survive. But when whispers of rebellion surface and her own identity begins to crack, she starts to question everything she's been taught. Especially when the truth might cost her everything-including her life.
Meanwhile, Haven and her tight-knit group of friends-Mason, Sam, and Alex-aren't part of the system... but they're about to uncover it. Armed with scattered documents, theories scribbled across Mason's bedroom walls, and drinks from their favorite café, they begin to unravel a hierarchy more sinister than they could have imagined: Council → Mr. Price → Staff → Operatives → Students.
As Red Snake plans her escape and Haven's group closes in on the truth, their worlds inch closer to collision. But in a game of manipulation and buried pasts, not everyone wants to be saved.
A story of found family, hidden pasts, and the price of freedom-perfect for fans of twisty conspiracies, layered characters, and slow-burning revolution.
