Past events have lead to the temperature rise of Planet Earth. As a consequence, water has expanded and sea levels have risen. The Earth has flooded. People are forced to live on the water and fish for food, society has collapsed and, in the absence of almost all authority, anarchy rules the world. The Earth's surface is now 92% water and, compared to the 21st Century, it is barely recognisable.
Ty is sixteen. Like many people his age, he lives on a boat with his family, fishing to survive. But Ty's life is about to change. When a freak storm flips Ty's world upside down, he tries to pick up the pieces and settle down again. But the skies are definitely not blue yet, as Ty is about to experience the real horrors a world without order can bring.
