After two frustated marriages and a 2-year relationship with Liam Payne, Cheryl was sure she wasn't going to get involved with someone anytime soon. Her heart was full, she had her little baby Bear, the man of her dreams. She felt complete and didn't wanted to change.
Michael, did not consider himself a mature guy when it came to relationships, and he also didn't have time for them. He always placed his career above everything, because he wanted his family to have a guaranteed future. A lot of his 'relationships' were only rumors.
The last thing Cheryl wanted in the moment was to get involved, it wasn't a long time since she made her come back with a new single and she was still enjoying motherhood. Of course Michael was handsome and attractive but she knew she couldn't let herself feel something for someone who didn't have time for relationships or didn't even cared for them, she would probably get hurt, once again. This time, she was going to use her head, otherwise her heart would hurt her another time. After all, it's not that difficult to resist a mutual attraction for a man like him. Right?
That was what she thought, but the story was different.

He started wondering if she was a spirit or a witch sent to kill him but then he saw how pale she looked and warded off his vague thought.
