Celestia Anderson or "Tia" was visiting her father in Hawaii for the summer after a painful divorce. Tia, originally from the cold of Denver, Colorado, had seen this opportunity to meet new people. Tia was always different than other girls, she never got attached to anyone. She's a wanderess a one night stand. She never belonged to a city nor a man. She meets various new islanders including surfer, Preston Hernandez.

Preston Hernandez is never in one spot for more than two seconds. He swears himself off to never love anyone, for he thought love was just another wasteful game for two. He like Tia also is a wonderer and is constantly on the prowl. That is until a fling that lasted a whole summer where Tia had captivated him in her kiss.
