Mirai Ōtsutsuki isn't an immortal as legends make them out to be. Her biological parents wanted her to live peacefully in the Shinobi world; her father made an impractical decision by letting her go than staying with him. As an infant, she was found by the Taka Village near the borders of the Land of Fire and was raised by a married couple for the first few years of her life before being taken away by Hidden Leaf Shinobi.
