Three teenagers from three completely different backgrounds have to fight together against the one thing that unites them all, Nova. Nova is an organization responsible for hunting down those who have abilities, often nicknamed AWOL's. No one truly knows what Nova's end goal is, all they know is that it's best to avoid them.

There are some who can control emotions, they are called empaths. Empaths can feel what others feel and even control the emotions of others depending on their skill.

There are teleporters that we have nicknamed shifters. Shifters can appear and disappear in different locations within their vicinity. Those who can read minds we call telepaths. Their abilities are vast in range, some can actually read thoughts, others can invade dreams and make them nightmares. Telekinetic's are called pushers. They are the most rare in the world and that is a good thing.

Enter the world through their different perspectives and enjoy the thrill of being both the hunter and the hunted. Will they find a way to come together and learn how to work together for the good of all AWOL's or will they be picked away one by one until none of them are left?
