Three teenagers from three completely different backgrounds have to fight together against the one thing that unites them all, Nova. Nova is an organization responsible for hunting down those who have abilities, often nicknamed AWOL's. No one truly knows what Nova's end goal is, all they know is that it's best to avoid them.
There are some who can control emotions, they are called empaths. Empaths can feel what others feel and even control the emotions of others depending on their skill.
There are teleporters that we have nicknamed shifters. Shifters can appear and disappear in different locations within their vicinity. Those who can read minds we call telepaths. Their abilities are vast in range, some can actually read thoughts, others can invade dreams and make them nightmares. Telekinetic's are called pushers. They are the most rare in the world and that is a good thing.
Enter the world through their different perspectives and enjoy the thrill of being both the hunter and the hunted. Will they find a way to come together and learn how to work together for the good of all AWOL's or will they be picked away one by one until none of them are left?

The Defined (Draft)
Connor Hunter's life was as normal as everything was. He attended school regularly with his two best friends. He had average scores which for a guy of his age would be normal. He lived alone far from his parents because he wanted to be independent, no uncommon thing there. One day, an accident occurs. He discovers that he had acquired some kind of ability to manipulate space and time. Everything goes downhill and he questions his sanity. Is he crazy? Could he be dreaming? Is this all real? After a few encounters he realizes that he isn't the only ability weilder, there are others, some stronger, others smarter and each one is different. Where will this realization come to? Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
