A Ballad of Fire and Steel (Cancelled)

Note: This story has been dropped by the author. A different story 'Fire blood and Wyvrens' that has not been started yet (and may never be started) is expected to tell this tale better and from the perspective of a NPC character that is a far more interesting protagonist.

What does a depressed Sorceress from an overtly sexualized culture, a poverty stricken purple scaled freak, an escaped Kitsune arena slave, a traveling half-elf bard, and an honorable Dwarven Shield-master have in common? Absolutely nothing. They just happened to be traveling on the same road together and were framed for murder about 2 hours before going their separate ways.

The gods have abandoned existence. Two other dragons are trying to carve out a piece of the Red Emperor's territory. Voidling creatures are spawning in any and every dark corner of the world. The planes are merging and the world is slowly coming to an end. Can our unlikely group of heros stop arguing over whether or not the kobold bandits trying to ambush them can speak common long enough to notice the world's peril... Probably not.

A Ballad of Fire and Steel is based on a Pathfinder Tabletop RPG called Clash of Dragons and was set in a home brew world created and run by Demon.
