Warren has to protect herself, her friends, and Lucy while the World is coming to an end. The goal is to try and get to The Bridge where the Living Dead can't cross over, yet it's across the country and it's getting more dangerous as each day goes by. With the help of David, who is ex-military, Ally who is good with geography, Dr. Groswki who is a surgeon, and the help of those they meet along the way, they fight for survival in the most unexpected ways. But one thing they all realize, is that THIS IS THEIR WORLD NOW.

Will Warren make it and will the group make it? Will Warren be able to protect her blind, younger sister, who she blames for the death of her parents? Will Warren get to live her life, even though her life feels as if it is coming to an end? Will the Living keep them from reaching their destination or will they all work together to fight off the Living Dead?
