Izuku went to the pier near the beach in search of All Might for his training . Yet he spots something or someone in the water . He thought that this person was in need , that they were stranded in the water so he reached his hand out to help them ; only to fall in himself .
The mysterious figure is later shown to be Shouto Todoroki ; cursed with a merman body . He saw they young boy fall and rushed to help , taking him to shore .
The two quickly bonded , sharing land and sea . Yet something unexpected happens , that tried to break them apart yet it only made their friendship stronger ; eventually turning to love .

It was like the words just gushed out to the point where Todoroki wasn't even listening, just sitting with his head resting on his fist. Izuku is in the wonderful college UA. His life is going pretty well, other than a few bumps with some bullies. The only problem? He's depressed and loosing his grip on living. He decides to try and end it once and for all. He's left a note for his roommate, Todoroki (Who he's been crushing on for a year now) and his mom. He thinks he's finally going to be free, but he's mistaken when a hand wraps around his wrist, stopping his fall off the roof. Who's the mystery person? Why had they stopped him? Why can't he seem to die? --- Just a typical Tododeku angst. College AU to. Warning: Mentions and attempt of suicide, scenes involving cutting, minor consensual groping, and incredibly descriptive kissing scenes. The suicide and cutting is a main plot point, so if you don't like it, this really isn't the fanfic for you. Also, this is a quirkless AU.
