A 7.0 earthquake hits Eagle River, Alaska, and a lot of buildings are destroyed. In the small town of Eagle River, there isn't more than a few houses untouched by this natural disaster. Following the earthquake are many small aftershocks and a few medium sized ones around 3.0 and 4.0. During these aftershocks, creatures crawl up from the cracks that formed in the highways during this natural disaster, which will come to be known as the night children. Their only way to survive is to escape Alaska, but with the night children out from 6pm to 6am, how will they make it? (This was written based off of an actual earthquake that I went through just this year, in 2018, and had nightmares about it. So I put my own horror fiction twist based on the earthquake and my nightmares.)

Having fun ,she didn't notice that ber-months was near and her hell season would start soon. As the first night of September strikes, her mares then begun. She was used to it but something felt off. Little did she know...The worst would start soon...As days passed, the unusual starts to happen .Suddenly one night she then found herself running away with companions from inhumane creatures. Finding them selves trapped in this twisted realm with no hope, the squad went on a search to find ways to escape this phenomenon. Every time midnight strikes they struggled to survive, they are confronted with their worst fears and must face the darkness within themselves to escape. Along the way, they must also evade the nightmarish entities that lurk in the shadows, waiting to ensnare them in their twisted realm. Will they escape? and would they survive? Becoming Her Dark Side
They lied to me. My own family. My so-called friends. All of them hiding the truth, that we're tied to the criminal underworld, a forte where my family, the Storms, are the undisputed kings. Then everything falls apart. My dad gets framed. My cousin ends up dead. And the boy I've had a childhood crush on-Nathaniel-turns out to be the one who could destroy me. At least Luke, the one person I shouldn't want, fights to keep me from breaking... but even he has secrets. But it's gets even worse, because now an organization is rising from the shadows, an organization that opposes everything my family stands for. And in a family of warmongers and sociopaths, I stood out as a glaring weakness. The most normal, the most vulnerable, and the most efficient way to end a dynasty that has ruled for centuries. Because what is a throne without an heir, and a crown without its king. So here I am, stuck in a game of blood and betrayal where the only way to survive is to stop being the fragile girl they thought I was. Peter Will Die
They told us not to resist it. They told us that it would all be over soon.
