"What's the matter? Don't you trust me?" He said, tilting his head with a smile.
"I'm scared," Emma chuckled.
"Don't be. I promise not to go fast or do anything to scare you," Carter said honestly.
"Promise?" Emma asked, holding out her pinky.
"I promise," Carter said before wrapping his pinky around hers.
"I just, I've never ridden a motorcycle before," She admitted.
"Well, that changes today, sweetheart." He said, taking the helmet from her hands. He pushed her hair behind her ears and slipped the helmet over her head.
"There. Now hop on behind me and enjoy the ride," He said, climbing on the front and starting it up.
