"What's the matter? Don't you trust me?" He said, tilting his head with a smile.
"I'm scared," Emma chuckled.
"Don't be. I promise not to go fast or do anything to scare you," Carter said honestly.
"Promise?" Emma asked, holding out her pinky.
"I promise," Carter said before wrapping his pinky around hers.
"I just, I've never ridden a motorcycle before," She admitted.
"Well, that changes today, sweetheart." He said, taking the helmet from her hands. He pushed her hair behind her ears and slipped the helmet over her head.
"There. Now hop on behind me and enjoy the ride," He said, climbing on the front and starting it up.

Lunch went by pretty quickly, and we were back to classes soon enough. I'd forgotten to get a book from my locker, so I quickly went to get it. We reached the hospital and Ryder, still being gentle, jumped out of the car. Zach opened the doors for him and they rushed inside the emergency room. "We need a little help." Max asked the nurse at the table. SHe seemed a little bit annoyed. "Sir this is the trauma center. If you have an emergency that can wait...Oh my gosh." She spoke once she looked at me. "Dr!" Then, light people around me became blurs, than darkness. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maybe you had some high school bullies, but I hope they weren't like Lucy Smith's bullies. Lucy Smith is entering into her first year of high school, going to school with her best friend and four out of her five older, protective brothers. Being part of the Smith family gives her some different effects on the the guys around her and some people don't take too kindly to that. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself.
