In the distant future, the progress of science and medicine has bridged the gap between humanity and machine. The world revolves around The Net, a vast network that connects everyone, and everything. Within the multi-story city of New York, Lucius Stoanhardt, a form of gun of hire, receives an anonymous encrypted messaged. The result of opening it lands him in a conspiracy that frames him for spreading a virus that causes peoples neural cybernetics to short circuit. Having to run not only from the law, but from gangs and even bounty hunters. With only a set of co-ordinates to go by, he sets out to redeem his name, find the mastermind behind the attack and kick some teeth in along the way.
