Did you ever read the short story Zero Hour by Ray Bradbury?

Well, back in high school, we were given an assignment to rewrite the ending for one of the short stories in The Illustrated Man. I decided to rewrite the ending for Zero Hour. Keep in mind this was back in 2010, when I was in 9th grade. It's a little dark, but I like it. The story itself was dark before I did this assignment, with my ending, it's a little bit twisted... As a huge fan of Tensura fanfics, especially the incredible works of Bon Aurevoir, It was My first Tensura Fanfic I've read and I was inspired to create something similar. After discussing ideas with Bon and getting his approval, I finally decided to take the plunge and write my own story. As the title suggests, the main character is a kind yet cunning individual. He strives to help others and guide them toward redemption. Despite his cunning nature, his naivety as a former human still lingers. Over time, he will grow from a child blessed with power into a man who shoulders great responsibility. The story will initially follow the canon timeline, but I plan to introduce some unique elements along the way to keep things engaging. Lastly, while I've included the R18 tag, I'm still honing my skills in writing romance and lemons. Expect a slow-burn romance, but I promise those moments will come eventually.
