Zero Hour (Ray Bradbury) Alt. Ending

Did you ever read the short story Zero Hour by Ray Bradbury?

Well, back in high school, we were given an assignment to rewrite the ending for one of the short stories in The Illustrated Man. I decided to rewrite the ending for Zero Hour. Keep in mind this was back in 2010, when I was in 9th grade. It's a little dark, but I like it. The story itself was dark before I did this assignment, with my ending, it's a little bit twisted...
