Every boy has a weakness a soft spot one girl they would do anything for. Bucky's was his old child hood best friend Madison Carter or Maddie Jo as he used to call her. 

Madison is a cheerleader and a dancer her junior year is about to start. The summer before her junior year is where this story starts because the coaches host a big athlete meeting where they change their team captains for the next school years as they have new juniors and seniors. Madison isn't one to care about the social rules about her rank in high school she's had the same boyfriend for 2 years he's the wide receiver Deacon but the same can't be said for some one else the one person she can't stand within her friend circle Bucky Barnes. The big headed quarter back who walks around like he owns the place just cause his dad is the head football coach and owns one of the biggest auto shops in town.

But when Deacon shows a side he's never shown before and she gets hurt it's Bucky who comes to her rescue. Nobody knew that he has hidden a deep secret and that is Madison is his soft spot the one girl that has been a weakness for him. They were close as kids but when puberty and middle school happened their friendship dissolved into she was annoyed by him.
