I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! I'm tired of running. I just wanna spend my life with someone I love and someone that loves me the same. I've been in foster care for a while now, always escaping but this couple comes out of the blue without even meeting me and takes me in. This man doesn't even look old enough to adopt me. There's something about him that just makes me wanna stay but life has other plans for me. The man I've been running from my entire life has found me.. I hope they can find me in time.Complete
A Forever That Lasted
"Everything I need is here," he whispered in my ear. I looked into his eyes, only to see me in them. He pulled me closer; we were just inches away from each other his breath was fanning my face. I could hear our heart beat in a rhythm, being this close to him; I could feel his heart hammering in his chest. His grip tightened around my waist as he placed his other hand on my cheek. My hands were on his chest, holding his shirt which seemed like my only support as my knees felt like jelly! It seemed so magical. We were so lost in each other, he leaned closer and my eyes shut automatically. As soon as his lips met mine, a thousand fire crackers started bursting in my head, there were goosebumps on my skin and butterflies in my stomach. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Should you tolerate anything in a relationship just to make it work or because he's your first love? Twisted Control
Some guys are smooth, unreadable-dangerous in a way that makes your pulse do things it shouldn't. But hey, who doesn't have a little emotional damage these days? Then the weird stuff starts. The calls. The messages. The undeniable feeling that someone's watching you. Totally normal, right? (Wrong.) Because when your psycho ex, slithers back into the picture, things go from maybe I need help to okay, I'm definitely about to get murdered. The worst part? You have no idea which man you should be running from.
