Velva Chapellë is a 20 year old back in the early 1900's during the Prohibition.
She lost her Father in WWI at the ripe young age of 13, leaving her and her two younger siblings to a widowed mother. To compensate she became the real care taker of the house, and ultimately the bread winner so her mother could tend to her other children. Push comes to shove with a little political- socioeconomically change- and BAM the production, distribution, and consumption of Alcohol is made ILLEGAL. This opens up many doors for Velva, who quickly jumps on the band wagon and becomes one of the few female Bootleggers.
