A short story about a young woman named Sajmoné who marries an unlawful man. It's a bit clique; the newly wed groom is abusive, but the bride marries him anyway. Well, here's the twist: Derek-the groom--shows his tail at the wedding and when things get a bit too heated between the bride and her groom, Sajmoné's old best friend Jeremiah steps in. From there Sajmoné has to catch her breathe after being humiliated before both their families and friends. Luckily, Jeremiah is there to the rescue. But why should he be the one to pick up the broken pieces when she hasn't spoken to him in years? What sense does it make for him to help her now? Regardless, Sajmoné is grateful for his help and the escape he provides her back to the old beach house. Turns out the retreat wasn't just for Sajmoné, Jeremiah needed it to.

A story of love, pain, and second chances. In a world where friendships crumble and kisses taste of betrayal, some wounds cut deeper than skin. A lover's touch can heal-or destroy. Behind every smile hides a secret. Behind every promise, a lie. And in the ashes of loss and sabotage, hearts still ache for the kind of love that survives it all. Different, yet the same-bound by the bruises and scars of their choices, their pasts, their mistakes. Some wounds break, some redeem... but in the end, love always leaves its mark. *** ⚠️ Disclaimer: Sensitive Content This story explores themes of sexual abuse, human trafficking, grooming, emotional trauma, domestic violence, and morally complex relationships. It delves into the long-term psychological impact of abuse and how it can distort one's understanding of love, trust, and self-worth. The characters, their actions, and their choices are entirely fictional and are not intended to condone or glorify abuse, manipulation, or inappropriate relationships of any kind. Reader discretion is strongly advised. Started: May 2025 *** Bruiseprint - a made-up name. Some loves leave marks, not just the kind that hurt, but the kind that shape us. They stay with us like prints. Our bruises tell stories. Pain leaves a print, but so does healing. This is the imprint of a love that changed them both. Thank you for reading ❤️♾️
