"Following these traditional good girl ways, I learnt to cook, clean and sweep at the age of 8. Today I am 16 year old and all I do is cook, clean and sweep, preparing myself for the days when I turn 21 and cook, clean and sweep for eternity while my husband-the doctor/lawyer/engineer/rich man/ Igbo to the core-goes about his daily business making money to provide for me and my 4 children who will be First In All Their Classes."

Ifeoma Asika is an 18-year-old girl from Lagos, born into Nigerian Elite. She is First In All Her Classes (as she was born to parents who were First In All Her Classes), beautiful and talented. She speaks fluent Igbo and drives around in tinted Range Rovers, unaware of the evils that lurk. Cynical and world-weary, she dreams of a life untouched by Nigerian values and Marriage. She lives a repeated life of school, housework and church desperate for a chance to do something different.

Then comes Bankole.

He's unlike anyone she has ever met. He is the tall muscular son of her father's new employee. With his close-shaven head, rapid-fire Yoruba, his free spirit, he is a light at the end of the tunnel.

When-in a series of unfortunate events-she finds herself pregnant, disowned, expelled and in debt to the local dibia, she seeks the help of Bankole in which they find the one thing they have both been looking for.

A Spinoff From the Grace Series I skim my fingers along my woman's arm as she reclines back, seated in my lap with her back resting against the cushioned arm of the wooden bench we worked on together. I built it and she painted it. And each one of our kids put their handprints on it. My darling sewed cushions to tie on during the warm days so we can sit out here comfortably. Now we enjoy the fruits of our labor together. And I'm speaking about the couch and our marriage. "How did we start?" she asks languidly, her eyes shut. Her coily hair frames her face in the afro she has it in. She's dolled up a bit with her dress and earrings. She's got nowhere to go, but she does it to feel perked up for the day. I'm fine with that, but she knows I'm just as fine if she's wearing one of those old nightgowns she has, or in her birthday suit. "You were always passing me by," I hold Kemi's hand and with my other one, I use my finger to trace her facial features. I love every one of them. I gently go over her brows then go to her cheeks that are a lovely rounded shape. I move onto her cheekbones, which sit a bit high. My finger trails down to her jaw and her lips as they curve up in a smile. "But to be fair, I passed you by as well, darlin'." The way we met, and the way we began, is all part of a story that is beyond us and I like to think back on it often. I like to think back on how the Lord made something new out of something broken. ~~~ This technically comes after Grace but can be read alone (and before or after Redemption). As with "Grace", this is an age-gap interracial romance about faith, love, and healing. Forewarning: This story discusses a darker theme that may not be suitable for a younger audience. Although, things are still done in a God-honoring way. Unlike Grace, this story is more of a short story and will likely contain less than 25 chapters. It follows Kemi and Fred, the close friends of Grace and Joe.

BEING A TEEN SERIES: BIMBO (BOOK 4) That line, that fucked up imaginary line. I like you, you like Bose, Bose likes John, John likes Feyi, Feyi like Kunle, Kunle like Jumoke, Jumoke likes Daniel, Daniel likes me. We all know that fucked up imaginary "love" circle. The people we like never like us back. They either like someone and that someone else ends up liking you or that usual crazy line. One sided love is something nobody wishes for, everybody wants the people we love to us back and however for everybody, that's not the case. For Adewole-Adedeji Abimbola, hers was the complete opposite. She had liked Paul for a long time;since their preschool days and the latter barely acknowledged her. He hated her being around him and being around him was something Bimbo enjoyed. Until Paul asked her best friend to be his girlfriend and despite the both knowing her feelings, they both went ahead to date each other and so Bimbo lost three things. She lost her dream guy, she lost her best friend and she also lost her heart. She was too heartbroken and became cold and distant to everyone. Her character took on a new phase as she shut everyone out. She focused on her books and topped the class leaving both her best friend and Paul running after her. With her new cold and indifferent attitude, she barely noticed a particular someone who had eyes on her since forever. But she never noticed him. Meet Adeleke Jeremiah, Boston International College, social prefect. Tall, lean and he had an amazing athletic build. He played football too and the whole female population had eyes on him but Jeremiah enjoyed being low profile. What on earth that attracted him to his one year junior;he couldn't decipher it at all. He even went ahead to stalk her on IG and someone he was on her contact list yet they never spoke. When Jeremiah is assigned to her class as her Prep Captain, sparks finally fly. Sometimes, who we want is not the best for us.
