"Where could she be? She's never late," Ellie exclaimed while pacing around their living room. Luke went over to her and seemed to calm her down, while whispering into her ear. Just then the front door opened and I heard the rush of footsteps.
"I am so sorry I'm late!" I looked up to where the voice came from. We both made eye contact and it was like we read each other minds.
"What are you doing here?!?" So much for the bridesmaids being off-limits.
