Furthermore, following the eldest princess's death, her father; the noble King Emerson, dies a brutal death. From then on, Queen Abarrane rules Ericon with an iron fist and a dark glint in her eye. All seems lost for Ericon, the hope the people once had diminished, and peace was simply a pipe-dream.
