Mysteries in my Motherland
Being rescued by his Godfather at the age of 5, after 20 years, Vikrant is about to return to India after completing his education. But suddenly, one fine day his Godfather calls at the most peculiar time and makes a confession; his parents' death wasn't a normal one. A deep secret would be revealed to him once Vikrant reaches India, but till then he had to speculate.
All Vikrant knew about his parents was that they died in an accident and that he was sent to Britain by his Godfather as, being an unmarried man and working in a special government organization, it would have been difficult to take care of him single-handedly.
After Vikrant returns home, a very dark secret is unveiled before him about his parents and their past. Turns out his father was the Ambassador of India in Berlin and he disappeared after a peace treaty was being signed in Berlin between India and its arch nemesis.
Vikrant sets out as a journalist to uncover the secrets behind his parents' death but instead, unravels dark government secrets that put his and his friends life in peril.
In his conquest, Vikrant not only digs out the dead but also brings them to life by solving the mystery of parents' death and someone else's death and disappearance as well, whose arrival India had been waiting for long now. It was one of the freedom fighter who was thought to be dead, but at the time of the Berlin treaty, he was seen lurking in the shadows and disappearing in the crowd of country leaders. But what happened at the second day of the Berlin treaty was unexpected and shocking, the Indian PM was found dead in mysterious conditions.
Who was behind all these and why were so many people dying? What was someone trying to cover up?
