This a redo of a story I started once before, but due to having other ideas, and not having a clear goal to start with, I didn't get very far in it. I hope you like it. Warning ahead of time; it may not always make sense, and I probably won't post too often. Also none of the pictures I put in were done by me. I kinda wish though.
It's my take on something along the lines of Nightmare before Christmas and Monster High. Purely fantasy, and a twist on creatures we already know.

I am just about to turn around and head down the alley toward the street when I see two shadows step away from the wall a little farther down from where I am standing. Of Men and Beasts
This is a folktale concept that came to me many years back, but it was only recently that I found myself able to shape it into the kind of story that I wanted. It's a bit longer and more detailed than my other short stories, about twice as long actually, which is why I've split it into two parts. Just to provide some context, it is meant to take place in a medieval, Germanic setting, shortly before the Protestant Reformation when religious fervor was at an all-time high.
