Growing up Izuku Midoriya always wanted to be a hero. He was already off to a great start when his quirk manifested. His parents' quirks combined and he was able to completely control fire. He called his quirk Pyrokinesis. Everything was going great. He had a loving mother and father who both supported his dream. The only thing he wanted was to be a hero, until one fateful day. It was a normal Saturday, just like any other. He was on his way home from playing with some of the neighborhood kids when he saw his house turned to rubble. He was taken in by a Yakuza group and worked as motorcycle mechanic by day and at night he was doing whatever it took to find out who killed his parents. The only thing that seemed to stand in his was a ginger hair girl who was dead set on being a hero who happened to wander into the shop with her dad one day. Keeping up the facade of an average high schooler is tough when you're taking on any job that will get you info on the person who robbed you of a happy family. Ses journées s'équilibraient entre la boxe, la musculation et ses moments passés avec son meilleur ami Ali, un garçon d'un an plus âgé qu'elle, qui savait lire en elle comme dans un livre ouvert. Ensemble, ils riaient, s'entraînaient, partageaient des secrets qui n'appartenaient qu'à eux. Avec Shanyse et Ebru, ses deux meilleures amies, elle formait un petit noyau solide, un cercle de confiance qui semblait indestructible. Quatre ados soudés, comme si rien ne pouvait les atteindre. Mais la vie change vite quand on a quatorze ans. Trop vite. Tout a commencé doucement. Une puff, « juste pour essayer », échangée dans un coin du quartier. Un goût sucré, un rire nerveux, et cette impression grisante d'être un peu plus grande qu'elle ne l'était. Puis vinrent les sorties tardives, les garçons plus âgés qui savaient flatter son ego, les soirées improvisées dans les cages d'escaliers, les discussions chuchotées à des heures où elle aurait dû dormir. Chaque pas en dehors des règles ressemblait à une victoire. Chaque interdit franchi, à une preuve qu'elle existait vraiment. Ali voyait bien le changement. Parfois, il essayait de la raisonner, mais Lina se contentait de hausser les épaules, agacée. Comment aurait-il pu comprendre ? Personne ne pouvait comprendre. Même Shanyse et Ebru, malgré leur fidélité, ne savaient plus toujours si elles devaient la suivre ou l'arrêter.

Jusqu'à se qu'un Vigilant ne fasse sont apparition. Cette fanfiction est basé sur un Izuku devenu vigilant, après être déclaré mort, Izuku semble avoir laissé son rêve d'Héroïsme avec son passé et se concentre sur ceux qui comme lui on étés oublié ou laissé de côté par la société.
