When seventeen year old Aiden Martin has no other choice, but to switch schools because of the location of her new home she's heartbroken. What makes it much worse is her new school, Cedarwood Academy, is filled with snobby, prissy little rich boys and girls who got any and everything they wanted just by snapping their fingers. She didn't live the rich life like they did, and she most certainly didn't want to.
That is until she attends a wild party and wakes up hungover next to one of the most popular boys at Cedarwood, Luke Hemmings. Feeling ashamed and disgusted with herself she leaves, not wanting to be there for the aftermath of her mistake. She expects to never speak to Luke ever again, but for some reason Luke finds her different from any other girl which is why he seems to be everywhere she is. She soon gets accustomed to his stalker-ish ways and decides to give the guy a chance.
All she expected was a friendship, not his or his friend's approval. But she's in far too deep to pull herself out of all the fun and popularity. She soon ditches sleepovers with her best friend, her grades are going from straight A's to straight D's, and it seems as though she spends most of her time making out with Luke in the backseat of his beloved Challenger. Maybe she'll be able to open her eyes and see what she has become or maybe it'll be too late and everything will just blow up in her face.
