They say that life has ‘happy ever after’s’, that there’s always going to be a silver lining…Well whoever they are, lied. Life is anything but happy endings or silver linings. Life is heart ache and unexpected obstacles
that take forever to overcome. Life screws everyone over.
I had to learn that the hard way…. But I guess somewhere along the way everything was sorta okay. That was until it wasn’t. Until I had to fight for everything I ever loved, ever cared for, and it slipped like sand through my grasp. Until I had to make life changing decisions to save the lives of the ones I held dearest.
He was my master and I was nothing more than lowly slave. He was the king and I was his peasant. I grew up fearing him and what he could become. I did everything in my power to stay hidden in the background. But like I said, life likes to team up with its buddy ‘fate’ and they work together to screw us all over.
This is the story of how ‘life’ and ‘fate’ messed with me big time.
