"I know your afraid Kyle." I said softly. He looked down at me eyes trained on my face.

"Oh yeah, of what?" He asked smiling slightly yet his eyes became wary.

"Of loving me." I whispered right before launching myself at him and kissing him just like I've wanted to since I met him._______________________________________________________________________________

Kyle Davis has watched his whole life how love could hurt the people he loved. He saw how little by little his parents love deteriorated into hate for each other. He never wanted that to happen to him so he steered clear of romance and relationships protecting himself from heartbreak.

When the preachers daughter, Hannah, first sets eyes on Kyle she doesn't understand his negativity towards love. Being a girl of god for her love is the most important thing. When she sees how much Kyle avoids it and despises it, it makes her want to change that. While on the path to making Kyle change his views on love, Hannah finds herself understanding more about the troubled teens life and little by little falling for him. Will Kyle let Love in and let Hannah give his heart a break?
