His mother fell ill and passed away when he was a dragonet, and his father, a royal SeaWing, was executed by his dictatorial queen as soon as it was found out that he'd had an affair with a common SkyWing. Still, Shrike remains tethered to the Queen and his tribe. Years of lost wars, unfulfilled treaties, and an excessively lavish lifestyle lived by their ruler, Queen Markhor, have left the SkyWing tribe impoverished and starving, and Shrike, the princess's personal bodyguard, has witnessed the consequences of the Queen's ignorance firsthand. A diplomacy meeting with the SeaWings gone wrong erupts in yet another bloody war, and Shrike is swept up in battle before finding himself caught in between the jaws of the political turmoil that seem to be tearing his tribe apart from the inside out. To make matters worse, a warning delivered years before by the continentally renowned prophet, Hereafter, is unraveling before Shrike's eyes, and its exhortations seem like an echo chamber awfully reminiscent of his own life. Wrote this in middle school very cringe. Snowdrift isn't like other dragons. She is a frostscales, so her scales radiate frost nobody can touch her or be near her in case of accidents. Now she has a chance to meet new dragons at Jade Mountain Academy. She meets a friend who is a firescales, so he can touch her, his name is Falcon, he is a Skywing. Snowdrift likes him, a lot. Except the Ice Kingdom is melting and there is going to be a war between the Skywings and Icewings. Who will win? Part 2: Falcon and ShiftingSky go off to the new Ice Kingdom. Once there an unexpected event happens. The three dragons go back and get there revenge. Part 3: The Skywings and Icewings are at peace now but not for long food and wateris gonna run out, ShiftingSky knows that, so she goes off alone to restore the Ice Kingdom.

He suddenly discovers that he has no respect, no friends, and no hope. Eventually, Chameleon is exiled for one simple reason: He is different from everyone else. And then the RainWings do something that Chameleon would never forgive them for. Brimming with fury, Chameleon sets out to prove everyone that indeed he is different- but better than them all. But nothing could prepare Chameleon for what he discovers out in the wilds of Pyrrhia- something so influential that not even Chameleon himself could grasp the true power of it.
