Nightmare disorder.The one thing that stands between me and being normal.
Even when I'm awake I see nightmares. Some worse than others. Much worse. After a terrible accident, I end up in the hospital. With no friends. Until one day a girl with the same kind of disorder comes to the hospital and becomes friends with me. Until her family comes and takes her away.
Now I am left to fend for myself with these terrible hallucinations. These nightmares that make the real world seem like the worst nightmare I could ever imagine.

Brush my teeth, get dressed, go to school and do homework. That's what my life was about, occasionally going to parties. But when a new kid comes to school and turns your world upside down, your best friend turning into your enemy. And me, turning into something that isn't exactly human. Things could get pretty strange. Especially with a life like mine. It would take a lot of work to actually survive, but to live at the same time is just exhausting. But it's all worth it. I can now call my life one word: Unpredictable.Complete
My Nightmare Just Became Real
15 year old Lily has a normal life, a best friend and doesn't do too badly at school. She's never had any trouble sleeping before until...the nightmare. A recurring nightmare that refuses to leave her alone and taints her sleep. She's not sure what to make of it until a new boy starts her school and she begins to see more than one connection with the boy and her dream. The end result is a little more than she bargained for and Lily finds herself thrown into a situation she would never have dreamed of. Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally.
