Slowly Falling

They always talk about how wonderous and amazing it would be to fall in love with your best friend, how easy it would be to talk to them, how you have already passed the awkward phase. One thing though, yes falling and being with your best friend is great, but no one acknowledges the fact that it is double the heartbreak. You lose not only the one who you thought was your true love, but the one you would turn to when you get your heartache because of it.
