Melissa didn't ask to be a born deatheater. With both parents as a big role of the dark side, she has to try and make friends and exam scores without her cousin poking fun, running into Umbridge, or dealing with Harry's teen angst. And on top of that, try to help run Dumbledore's Army and not fall into the hands of Peeves or the twins. And the cherry on top is to hide her true lineage as best as possible and keep her already average reputation.
It's about to be one hell of a school year.
