The Fame Game

Maxine O'Neal and Alexis Cabot's lives couldn't be any more different, despite the fact that they grew up together. Now, it's been four years since the two have seen or talked to each other, and three years since Alexis's career as a globally known singer/songwriter skyrocketed, leaving Maxine in the dust.

Even though Alexis doesn't acknowledge Maxine whatsoever, Maxine continues to try to get a hold of her best friend through texts, calls, Instagram posts, Twitter DMs-everything.

Then one fateful day, Maxine finally gets the chance to meet up with Alexis and figure out where their friendship went wrong and, hopefully, to reignite the fire in their friendship through a crazy adventure filled with raging fans, sultry-voiced boys, mobs of paps, and many, many cans of hairspray.
