Humanity has failed. The Earth is littered with trash; masses of plastic and cardboard pile the ground, waste floats in the oceans, and the air is thick with toxic chemicals. Humans have now retreated into submarines, floating with the current, collecting valuables in trash patches whenever they can.
A camera catches one of these scavenger's interest, offering new light on what the world once was and what the world could be.
