The Fade
"Can you not see what's going on around us? People are disappearing without any warning. Is that funny to you? Does it not worry you at all that you could be next? Does it not scare you that you could wake up tomorrow, and I could just be gone? Because it scares me. A lot." *** Widespread unexplainable disappearances prompt a group of teenagers to leave their empty homes in search of the source of The Fade. Will they find an answer and a way to stop the disappearances, or will they too succumb to The Fade? *** Inspired by a series of spectacularly weird dreams. *** "This story gives me a reason to smile even on the worst days." ~@smallestpenguin *** First update: 5/25/18 Final update: 7/19/19Terminé

I Loved You Blindly [Complete]
'Accidents happen'. That's what people say. Yet, some accidents take away from us more than others. Ethan had it all. Everything was lined up in front of him. Popularity, looks, friends, a hot girlfriend and a promised future in football. In one incident that resulted in a horrible accident, he lost it all. The best friend, the girlfriend, the planned future and his sight. Fighting through darkness and depression, he built high walls that kept everyone out. Skye suffered loss too, but she kept strong for the sake of her little brother, Matt. With her aunt and brother, leaving home and moving to a new place seemed like the perfect solution. A new start that they all needed. Skye's plan was to blend in and keep to herself. Well, not the easiest task when it was obvious as daylight that you were the new girl at school. Especially when she, literally, bumped into Ethan. For Ethan who has been isolating himself and absolutely independent that he pushed everyone away, and Skye being stubborn and not in-the-least shy on saying what she thought openly, fighting and bickering was unpreventable. Skye saw through the walls that Ethan has built around himself. Drawn to him, slowly, their friendship started to turn into something else. Aurora borealis - the academy (on hold)
Aurora: In a world where love had to be earned I would never be good enough. I was the black sheep in the family, the witch without magic. While my sister excelled in every type of way I had to suffer in silence, tormented by the people I should have been able to trust most. Having grown up with a deadly plague known as the Ghostly ravaging our kingdom, my main goal has always been to join the Special Forces to fight back. But in a cruel twist of fate I have to enter an academy - a safe ticket to the special forces- as a maid while my sister joins as a student. But finally after an eternity of hell there was a slight chance I could join the special forces and even if taking that chance meant being tormented by a handsome yet rude dragonshifter called Ronan I would gladly take it. ________________________________________ The more Aurora gets to know Ronan, the more the pieces of their past begin to fall into place-memories of a fateful encounter that should've never happened. And as their bond deepens, so does the mystery of the Ghostly, the ancient forces they're up against, and the secrets they both carry. In a world where power and loyalty are everything, Aurora must fight not just for survival-but for the truth that could change everything Start: April 2024 End: -

And I guess what I'm trying to say is.. You're my light, the one who helped me through the worst time in my life - And for that, I am thankful. I'm thankful that I met you, but I also hate you. Why Me | Book 1
When life gets out of hand, plans change and her past comes to get her. Will she be able to keep up her facade? Or will she let her hidden, true self come to the surface? Will she be able to keep all the promises she ever made; or will she break them, one, by one? What if friendship turns into more, even though she's trying so hard to fight it. And what happens, when the demons in Emily's head take over and she loses control over everything around her? When her heart tells her to keep fighting but her mind won't. Who will be able to save her from her darkness? --- Trigger Warning --- "It's not your fault, Sweetheart. I made my decision. You couldn't have changed it." She stands in front of me. Her eyes are bloodshot red as usual. Her lips blue and her face pale, the sling around her throat. "I want you back. I miss you so much." I cry and she pulls me into a hug. I breathe in her scent. She's ice cold and I can't make out a heartbeat. "I know you do. I love you so much, keep that in your mind, my love." My grip around her tightens and I bury my face in her chest. "Please don't let go." I sob as her grip around me becomes loose. "No mom. Stay!" Her arms fall down at my sides and she starts vanishing in my arms. "No! Mommy! Come back! I need you!" I fall onto my knees and start shaking. I sit up straight in my bed. Meeting mom's eyes in the picture on my nightstand. "Fuck." I whisper, wiping away the tears under my eyes. My head pounds and I'm still shaking a little.Terminé
When the World Falls
(Los Santos #1 || Raised under the shadow of twisted expectations, she was molded to compete with her twin brother-to be smarter, better, more obedient. But when he vanished into addiction and disappeared from her life, Isla was left behind to face their parents' cold cruelty alone. The girl who once wanted to make them proud became a ghost of herself, scarred, broken, and teetering on the edge. Then came the message. Three years later, her brother reappears with an invitation: escape with him and start over. But Isla's journey from Glendale to Phoenix to Las Vegas and to Los Angeles is derailed when her car breaks down in the heart of a city she never meant to enter-Los Santos, home of danger, crime... and The Shadow Killers, the city's most feared gang. Thrown into the chaos is Pierce Bullet, a sharp-tongued, green-eyed misfit with a brutal past and a reputation that stains the streets. He wasn't supposed to mean anything. Yet somehow, Isla finds herself orbiting him like a dying star drawn to its final blaze. Two broken souls. One volatile city. When survival becomes a shared language, can something beautiful rise from ruin? Or will their story burn out before it ever begins? ~ Warning: This is a dark novel and will have a lot of mature scenes. It will also have a lot of disturbing scenes such as violence, abuse, and other sensitive topics. This is not for people with soft hearts. Meant for 18+
