Rey, an abandoned nobody, fought side by side with the powerful Kylo Ren. She saw a future in him, a redemption of Ben Solo. Based on Star Wars ep. VII: The Force Awakens. "You... you're afraid." I say looking back at him defyingly. "That you'll never be as strong as Darth Vader." I say his hand moving away from me instantly and he takes a step back finally my body gets released from his hold. I notice the expression from his face breaking completely, he is confused even rattled. I breathe heavily and keep staring back at him proud of myself as he picks up his mask and exits the room leaving me tied up to the interrogation chair. How was I able to do all of that? ------ This book is part 1 of my rewrite series. I figured that if If I wanted to rewrite TLJ and TROS the only correct way would be by also doing TFA so here is that. Also, this book is going to be very similar to the movie to a point where it is almost identical but since it's written with different points of views we get to know more about the characters and where they come from. It is very canon compliant especially when talking about the different character backstories. That being said, this doesn't mean that the next two books are going to be the exact same as the movies I want to take the other books in a completely different way. I am writing this because I cannot STAND the ending of the Rise of Skywalker even though it needed to end that way and it was really well done. If I didn't ship Reylo, I would've loved the ending. Kylo Ren left the scene of the massacre, where he had just murdered dozens of former fellow Jedi padawans, at the academy his uncle had established. He didn't look back, for he knew that if he did, he would totally break...he would be torn apart. Please note that this story STARTS in the time while Kylo Ren/Ben is at the Jedi Academy and that this story was written directly after The Force Awakens!
