"He went to sit on the couch. He briefly considered sleeping there tonight.

It was comfortable enough. The two of you had spent hours together sleeping there. Memories of the two of you on the couch made him flush. He ached to hold you and this was not helping.
No, he belonged next to you. Wherever you were. Everything else would work itself out.

He took his bag into the bathroom. As he started his night care regime his eyes fell to a red ball on the counter.

Picking it up he found the exquisite red lace thong he picked out in Paris. He remembered thinking you would save this for a special occasion. He heart ached to think of you choosing it for tonight and the two of you ending the evening the way you did.

And why was it thrown here? Did you not want him now? Those questions and self doubt tormented him as he finished. He pulled on a tee and sleep shorts.

The weather outside had grown even more tumultuous. Just perfect, he thought. Jin was afraid of storms."
