Frisk has lived his entire life being bullied, tormented, and beaten. Never having had a single true friend to call upon. He started out life in an orphanage, where the kids harrassed him, kicked dirt in his face, eventually he was adopted by a loving family, placed in a real school, and thought everything would be okay. But the suffering only got worse. Being betrayed one last time in college left him unable to trust anyone, he keeps his new 'friends', that he met in junior year of college, at arms length. Can they convince him that not everyone in the world is heartless?
This story is about Frisk's journey towards learning how to trust others and form meaningful relationships.

Undertale; Despair AU 《REWRITE》
What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel). In an alternate reality, only one boy fell into the Underground. Adopted by the Dreemurrs, life was good. Until another child fell and everything changed. Ray and Asriel are now alone, without a family, without a world to call their own until they are teleported to another timeline: the Post-Pacifist time-line, where Frisk has led Monsters to the Surface into peace and prosperity for years. However, not all is well. Some Humans don't get along with the Monsters, and things only get worse when Sans reveals that a terrible evil is at work in Earth, sabotaging both Humanity and Monsterkind. Y/N's life falls apart, while her mother heartbroken, and her father started to ignore her. Not having a great life, she decides to run away, learning about the hard life of being a citizen. Having to live on the complete opposite side with poverty, she learns she has to hide, and everyone isn't what they seem. Not even her.
