Rambling about ero/romance anime/manga

Reviews and discussions of the various otaku type stuff I've been reading and watching. I'm mostly interested in male-oriented romantic comedy type stuff. I think it fascinates me because it's a genre that mostly doesn't exist in western pop culture. Growing up as a guy I always thought romance = girl stuff, so this is a whole new world to me.

Even though a lot of it is dumb, repetitive, and completely relies on tropes... I still find myself loving it and binging entire series all at once. So, some of these reviews may sound like the Simpsons episode where Homer becomes a food critic ("My lowest review ever! Seven thumbs up"). I'm not really trying to be neutral, just to share the stuff I liked and what I thought about it. All of this is my own subjective opinion, so if you disagree with anything, please leave a comment and tell me!

Spoiler policy: all of these will start with a brief non-spoiler review, and then the real review will be full of spoilers. I won't do plot summaries, but I just wouldn't be able to say much without doing some spoilers. In my opinion most of these aren't the kind of story where a spoiler would really lower your enjoyment anyway. I won't spoil any series other than the specific one I'm reviewing.

Also one last thing- most of these series have sex-related (ecchi) stuff in them. Sex jokes and panty shots, that sort of thing. I won't put anything too explicit here, and I won't review anything that's actually pornographic, but I just thought I should warn people before they look these series up at school or work. Use your best judgement.
