Arina was born in the United States, Chicago, Illinois to be exact, with illegal Russian immigrants as parents.  At the young age of three, her parents were deported back to Russia, and she went with them.  Now fourteen years later, her parents have a green card and they are moving back to Chicago.

Knox Fisher has always been know as the 'badboy' at Bruner High School since he moved there two years ago.  Everyone called him that because of his tempered and quiet ways, he has also got in more fights than anyone can count.  

No one knows why he's like this because he won't let them, but what happens when he meets Arina?  And why does he have these feelings and possessive urges for her?  Why does she get this undeniable attraction for him?
