Siren

Before she was born Evelyn's mother, a powerful siren, gave her up to save her from a life of servitude to the Sea. Eve is forced to live a life of utter precaution with her adoptive mother, Sirena, at her self-owned diner. Eve lives by five simple rules that keep her safe-No touching ANY water, no relationships, no public school, no going outside, and no drinking any unfiltered water. Why? Because if even a single drop of water touches Eve her predatorial siren instincts will drive her back into the Ocean's waiting arms.

But something terrible is brewing between the Seven Tribes of the Ocean. A war. unlike any other, and it's beginning to drag Eve and her friends into the deep. How will Eve save the people she loves without falling victim to the life of a siren? She is forced to make a choice: save the land and become a single-minded predator for the Ocean or let the wake of this war destroy everything she loves. Simple enough. Right?
