Such is the case with Holly. After a much-encouraged ice-skating performance for the holidays goes wrong and leaves her injured, Holly finds herself slowly turning her back on everything―and everyone―that once made her happy. When another Christmas rolls around, however, Holly finally has the chance to encounter the Pokémon that supposedly ruined everything for her. 

But not everything is simple when she realizes that in order to go back to the way life was, she must come to terms with her fears―if she can acknowledge them. But through the help of her supportive parents and an unlikely ally, Holly discovers that she may have a chance of entering the rink to skate again―but what will happen if she is too afraid to even stand on her legs?

One of the team's leader even wants her to join them, but why? Also, who is the ally who is most willing to help her? For Sapphire, she will face many foes, family, and friends, old and new, on her journey, pushing her past her limits for power. Can she do it? But, of course, she runs into people that she can't just get rid of, the water trainer, Barry, the fighting trainer, Lucas, and the flying trainer, Dawn. How does she cope with having to stay undercover with a bunch of trainers she just met? And how can she keep quiet about the fact she can talk to Pokemon? Well, you have to read it to find out. Naomi wanted to give up and turn back at every chance she got, but she knew that her grandparents probably would never let her back in the house so they decided to pull through and that's when Naomi bumped into Ash and Brock and from there they've been traveling ever since and from there Naomi's tried to forget about her past and move on by meeting so many new people and catching so many pokemon... However, one Rival in particular piqued Naomi's interest and she has no idea why and she tries to deny them as hard as she can but everytime her and Paul argue or he gets on her nerves, there's something about him that Naomi can't ignore...but what happens when team rocket has a plan, traps them both and he notices the scars? Will he care? Will they fall in love? What happens next?
