I opened my eyes, only to see whitewashed walls and blinding lights. A door to the left wall and glass panels to the one beside it. Around my bed were blue curtains surrounding me, encasing me on this brick like uncomfortable bed.
But it's familiar, and of course it's familiar,
Who doesn't know a hospital room when they see one?

Timeline of Errors
The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo. However, all of the characters are mine, with inclusion of an invention (The Flying Flower) and a new territory where the story is set.Complete

After reading a recent reaction story with Pokémon as the main topic along with my works on "Characters React??? (Ideas)" and multiple anime or other fandom reaction stories I have yet to update.
