On the evening of August 3rd, 2004. Tony Mendez took his six-year-old son on a fishing trip in hopes of coping with the loss of his wife. What they found in the Texas Sabine River that evening was a human skull. 

A cold case was re-opened but little did Tony realize it would ignite a series of disappearances of small children that would upset the town, turn him and his son into the target of a sociopath and make the world question if perhaps the legend of La Llorna, had returned.All Rights Reserved

Every Halloween a lottery is drawn in the small town of Exter, the winners win an all night pass to the grounds and the house. Complete lock-down from dusk til dawn. This year 21 Year old Hunter Brigley and his 7 year old sister Hope and 2 others are forced onto the plantation well before the lockdown and its a struggle from the moment the gate closes to stay alive. Hunter uses his common sense and logic to his advantage, but soon fear of loosing his sister overwhelms him and he soon finds out is just how confusing and distorted reality gets once inside the Plantation walls. He has to risk everything just to save his and his sisters life. And being descended from the very family that the ghost who supposedly haunts the plantation killed, doesnt put the odds in there favor.
