Of Things We Lost

Merissa Thorpe's life has never been easy, but it has always been predictable, at least. She could expect her parents to be cold, her brother, snobbish and her boyfriend, overbearing. Entering her fifth year she doesn't expect anything to be different, comfortable - if not quite contented - with the idea.
