'Dead at scene.'
The words run through my head, I wish they were different; "he's badly hurt but, he'll pull through" or "just a few injuries but, he should be fine" and a small part of me even wishes it was "instantly killed."
Instantly killed would mean he didn't feel a thing. He wouldn't of felt his body hit the car and then be thrown back, he wouldn't of smelt the blood and sweat and panic, he wouldn't have heard the driver of the car, drive off.

"Please don't do this." I begged, as tears streamed down my face, making my mascara run. My eyes traveled from his face, that handsome boyish face, down to the floor. Down to the dead bodies. "Oh God," I choked, my life flashing before my eyes, as I felt his fingers slip from my shoulders down to the knife. He put it to my throat gently, so that he didn't cut it. Yet. "I'm sorry." He muttered. "Please...." I begged. "Please." His lips pressed against mine, and I shuddered against him. Dear God, Please don't let this happen. This is the story of how I met him. The story of how he stole my heart, just as carelessly as he stole peoples lives away from them. Maybe. Maybe not. When I think about it, I still smile. Even though I know the sad and terrible ending, I can't help but smile. He was my best friend. He was so loving. So caring. He taught me everything. But, he also destroyed everything. He was just like that. He was just the mass murder that loved me, and that's how I'll always remember him. I dare say, that's how I'll always cherish him.

It's like the whole world stopped. Everyone just stood there, not moving or breathing. The lights faded out and my lungs ached. I couldn't breathe. No matter if I gasped, nothing would come. Everything was a blur. In that moment, I knew that I just pissed off the wrong person, and I was dying. "I love you, L-" I gasped out before the whole world started to work again. What would you do if you wake up at the hospital after an accident? How would you feel after finding out that the person you love the most died in that accident? How would you recover from the pain and grief of your lost? What would you do if find out that you died on an accident? What if you had to leave your family and your beloved ones behind? How could you fix things if you're not longer alive? Emma and Tyler had an car accident while going home after prom. A drunk driver hit them and Tyler died. Emma alive has to live with the grief of losing someone, but can she move on? Can she let go? Tyler, meanwhile, left his family and his lover alive while he finds his way to settle the things he left incomplete before he can go to heaven. Love never dies, and even though there is pain on the journey, at the end there will be hope.

"In my 19 years of life I never really experienced anything worth telling a story about. Usually when something exciting happened to me, which was rare, I'd sum up the key parts and move on. But then I died, and I finally had a story worth talking about. Anyway, how I died isn't too exciting. Just a basic car accident. an almost decade old story. * "one tragedy changed their lives." a story with dialogues and minimal description, in which a boy ends up in the hospital after a car accident and his friend slowly collapsing under the weight of his tortured mind. but what actually happened that one fateful night and what other secrets will be unraveled? * two main male pov's, recognizable through italics and normal text. a story written unlike any other. i hope you'll find comfort in it just as much as i have. be aware that this is a realistic story. * slow-burn start, but it picks up. don't let the number of chapters fool you; the average reading time for each is less than a minute . i came up with the story of the two friends when i was still quite young and i'm by no means a writer, so it deeply apologize if it sucks ass. feel free to vote and comment or point out any spelling mistakes or confusing paragraphs. it needs some editing and possibly some small changes or added chapters for clarity and better character development, but as for now, this first completed story will do. original story: around 2014. first upload: 2020. re-upload: 2023.
